Current Vacancies:

Experience Accountant

We are looking for experience Accountant with great attention to detail to join our growing accounting team on a full-time or part-time capacity. The successful individual will be working as part of the accounting team. You will be working directly with clients developing and maintaining relationships, supporting the team to ensure accounts and tax assignments are delivered on time and to the highest of standard.

Key tasks and day to day responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and production of statutory accounts and tax computations from client records for Limited companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and LLP’s
  • Bookkeeping
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC, accurately and to required time requirements (MTD and other)
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Filing/submitting of prepared company accounts to Companies House
  • Acting as the first point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis, in person, on the telephone and via email and letter
  • Preparation of personal tax returns and submission to HMRC
  • Offering accurate tax and business advice in a professional manner

 

Key Skills and Essential Criteria:

  • A qualified or semi qualified accountant with experience of working with a wide range of clients in accountancy practice
  • High technical level of accountancy knowledge, with experience in applied thinking and application
    In-depth accounts preparation and disclosure knowledge
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Highly organised with good time management skills and an excellent attention to detail
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent business acumen and capacity to influence
    Confident in manner, a good communicator, both written, verbally and face to face; with the ability to adapt to various levels of understanding
  • Highly computer literate with a desire to use technology to add value to clients and improve efficiency
  • Experienced in self-managing workload; with the ability to multi task and work successfully to deadlines
  • Actively seeks to develop expertise and knowledge
    Develops and maintains relationships both internally and externally
  • IT Software skills required, Microsoft office packages of Word, Excel and Outlook alongside Accountancy software

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

Working hours: 9am to 4.30pm

Tax Consultants

We are currently recruiting for experience UK Tax Consultant to join our team in Peterborough. In this role you will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients and deal with all of their compliance needs.

You will have a proven track record of dealing with tax compliance and a minimum of 12 months experience in UK tax. You will also demonstrate excellent communication and organisation skills for managing a portfolio. General tax experience and supporting UK qualification required.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Tax returns on behalf of clients
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Dealing with basic tax matters on behalf of clients
  • Contact with HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties
  • Contact with clients to deal with queries arising when preparing annual Tax Returns and in dealing with their affairs
  • Manage a portfolio of clients to ensure that all Tax Returns are prepared and submitted to HM Revenue & Customs
  • Calculation of tax liabilities, together with a reconciliation of the tax due
  • To check PAYE codes and statements on account on behalf of clients
  • To check repayments issued to clients
  • Calculation of capital gains tax computations and advising clients of their liabilities
  • Assisted with Payroll
